Terms of Service
By creating an account or using AYChat you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short, in plain language, and meant to be read rather than skipped.
1Who can use AYChat
You must be at least 13 years old. You must not be barred from using the service under the laws that apply to you, and you must not have been previously banned.
2Your account
- Give accurate sign-up details and keep them current.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account — keep your password safe and turn on two-factor authentication.
- Tell us at once via support@aychat.pro if you suspect someone else has access.
- One person, one account. Do not sell, rent or transfer it.
3Your content
You own what you post. We claim no ownership of your messages, photos, videos or audio.
You grant us only the narrow, revocable licence we technically need to run the service: to store, transmit and display your content to the people you send it to, and to generate thumbnails and compressed versions for delivery. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account — except for copies already delivered to other people's devices, which we cannot reach.
4What you must not do
Do not use AYChat to:
- Post or share child sexual abuse material. This means an immediate permanent ban and a report to the authorities.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate or incite violence against anyone.
- Share non-consensual intimate images, or record or share a call without consent.
- Distribute malware, phishing links, spam or bulk unsolicited messages.
- Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Attack the service — scraping it, reverse-engineering it to break security, circumventing rate limits, or attempting unauthorised access.
- Break any law that applies to you.
5Moderation and enforcement
Anyone can report content and block another user from inside the app. Reports are reviewed, and we may warn, remove content, restrict features, suspend or permanently ban an account.
Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted and we cannot read them, so we can only act on those when a participant reports them and provides the content.
If you think a decision about your account was wrong, appeal to support@aychat.pro — a human will look at it.
6Copyright complaints
Send takedown notices to legal@aychat.pro with the work concerned, where the material is, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.
7Music, translation and third-party content
Music search and playback come from third-party catalogs. We neither host nor own that music and cannot guarantee any track stays available. Translation is machine-generated and best-effort — please don't rely on it for anything consequential.
8Service availability
AYChat is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes wherever we can.
9Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, data or goodwill arising from your use of the service. [Fill in: liability cap and any consumer-law carve-outs your jurisdiction requires — have a lawyer review this clause.]
10Ending your use
You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Sections 3, 9 and 11 survive termination.
11Governing law
[Fill in: governing law and the courts with jurisdiction — normally where your legal entity is registered.]
12Changes to these terms
We will update the date above and notify you in the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use AYChat afterwards means you accept the new terms.
